Welcome to Mr. Lies' Science Page

I was born in Anoka, MN, but grew up in Willmar, MN.  I originally went to college at Dunwoody Institute here in the Twin Cities for an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting Design and Estimating.  I then moved down to Fargo where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry Education from North Dakota State University.  I spent my first two years out of college working as a reserve teacher, which was a good experience.  I was finally able to pick up a .6 position here at Washburn, which became full time the following year.  I have been here ever since.  This is my twelfth year teaching at Washburn High School.  This year I will be teaching Chemistry and Physical Science.  My classes use Google Classroom.
